We started Deepnote to help data teams solve the most difficult problems. To do that, we don’t just need better algorithms, bigger datasets and more computing power. We need powerful tools that inspire us to explore, reason and collaborate. These tools do not exist yet. We need to invent them first.

We’ve been working on building a next generation computational medium since 2019 and have customers like Gusto, DAZN, Webflow, Ramp, Harvard University, and hundreds more on this journey with us. We’re building out the core team and we're looking for kind and curious people ready to grow with us.

😎 About you

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to accelerate our product development. You'll work on some of the most difficult problems in the field - we don't expect you to be an expert on everything, but we do expect you to learn fast and take a lead.

Your responsibilities will range from writing beautiful and performant code to gathering user feedback, all the way to designing entire workflows. You'll become an expert in data science tooling and we'll trust you to make the call which technologies we use and which features we implement.

🧑‍💻 What you'll work on

•

You will build new features across everything from the backend logic to UI components.

•

You will work on our real-time collaborative experience in different parts of the application.

•

You will improve the rendering performance by working with virtualization and memoized components.

•

You will learn about data science tools and form opinions that will ultimately drive the product.

•

You will support our community of data scientists and developers and help them succeed using Deepnote.

⚡️ Bonus points

You have experience with working with designers through Figma.

•

You have experience in data analysis and/or data science.

•

You have worked on notebooks, visualizations, BI tools, or data pipelines.
